The problem to solve.

Founded in 1845 in Hobart, Tasmania, The Hutchins School has grown significantly. There was no place to unite the whole school community under one roof. This need brought about a vision to create a place for all to come together.


How our Brand Story method unlocked the brand potential.

As part of a sophisticated fundraising strategy and campaign spanning several years and phases, a range of compelling narratives in the form of videos were created as key campaign assets to inspire the vision of a new building and drive donations for the fundraising campaign.


To help set the aspirational vision for this project and energise the campaign, a foundational story was crafted to ‘Build Their Imagination’ and showcase the building will be for the entire community.


‘Make Your Mark’ set up the next fundraising phase and round. As a place for all to come together; with a call to action on how any donation, big or small, will make a positive mark for all.


The final phase, ‘Building What Matters’ leveraged the 175 years that The Hutchins School has been building what matters in the form of character, learning, well-being, sustainability and community into building a place that matters for the school community to come together.
